Dr.Achilleas Achilleos

Achilleas P. Achilleos (PhD) received his doctorate from the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at the University of Essex, which was co-funded by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and British Telecom (BT). He is currently a full-time Visiting Lecturer of Computer Science and Engineering at Frederick University. At the start of his academic career he worked as a part-time researcher at BT. He has also been a Post-Doctoral Researcher for five years at the SEIT laboratory, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Cyprus, where he was involved in European H2020, FP7, FP6, LLP and AAL research projects (Sci-Challenge, PaaSage, Prosperity4All, COIN, MUSIC, VALS and CVN). His research interests are: pervasive and mobile computing, adaptive web engineering, service-oriented and cloud computing and model-driven engineering. He has published more than 40 papers and served as a chair in well-known conferences and as a reviewer in many well-known journals and conferences.
