In the ever-changing cultural landscape of Cyprus, Limassol stands out as one of the most culturally active cities of the island, having at the same time an important position on the cultural map of the Mediterranean region. Apart from its archaeological sites of great historical importance, as well as its multicultural heritage and art – the ancient Curium Theatre, the Medieval Castle and the ancient royal city of Amathus – Limassol counts a great number of cultural activities and events, organised by active NGOs, associations, organisations, independent artists and other cultural actors.

In this website, we endeavored to map - almost from A to Z - the cultural identity of our city, in an attempt to promote a regionally coordinated cultural strategy and support Culture in its broader sense: as an integral component of the citizens’ daily life.
