Students of the 2nd Vocational High School of Komotini, of the Medical and Biological Laboratory Assistants specialization, of the Health, Welfare and Well-being Sector, are actively participating in the campaign of the European project of the Regional Directorate of Education of E.M.Th.: "BLISS strengthening health literacy for school students"The BLISS project is an initiative aimed at strengthening health literacy among school students in the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace region of Greece. As part of this project, an informative campaign has been developed to raise awareness about the importance of health literacy and empower students to make informed decisions about their health. I am proud of the participation of my students in the BLISS project. I am confident that their efforts will help to raise awareness of the importance of health literacy and to improve the health of students throughout the region. Key Elements of the Campaign Video: A captivating video directed by Iliana Alexandridis, featuring students Sofia Gousidi and Anna-Elpida Karavidas. The video highlights the importance of health literacy and showcases the diverse perspectives of students on this crucial topic. English Subtitles: To ensure accessibility for a wider audience, the video features English subtitles meticulously prepared by students from the relevant department. Original Music: The video's soundtrack is an original composition created by student Yusuf Hasan, adding a unique and engaging element to the campaign. Bilingual Posters: Eye-catching posters, one in English and one in Greek, were designed collaboratively by all the students. These posters feature the video's QR code, encouraging viewers to engage with the campaign's message. Braille Translation: To promote inclusivity, the English poster was translated into Braille, ensuring accessibility for visually impaired individuals. Campaign T-shirts: To further promote the campaign, custom-designed T-shirts were created based on Yousef Hasan's artwork. These T-shirts serve as a visible way for students to show their support for the BLISS project.
