In this project, MDL was responsible for the definition and formulation of the Waste Collection Vehicle Routing Problem in the context of Multi-Objective Optimization taking into consideration real-time traceable and spatiotemporal information provided by GEOMATIC. Then a Multi-Objective Evolutionary Algorithm based on Decomposition (MOEA/D) was designed and developed for calculating a set of Pareto optimal truck routes for waste collection.
