Alliance for Fostering Innovation in Education and Enterprises through Digitization of Agriculture Supply Chains

Ancient Idalion

Idalion was found in the 13 th century BC, during the Late Bronze Age (1650-1050 BC). During the Cypro-Archaic period (750-475 BC) Idalion was consolidated as an urban centre.Τhe Archaeological Site of Idalion lies to the south of the Museum. It consists of the acropolis, that is the heart of the ancient town of Idalion. The ancient town of Idalion, with the settlement, its cemeteries and sanctuaries spreads beyond the archaeological site, to the east, north and west of the Museum.
