Course Description
This Microcredential provides a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the ethical principles, including human-centred values, social and environmental wellbeing, and accountability. It is designed for learners with little or no prior experience in AI and ethics, covering how AI technologies function and the ethical challenges they present (bias, transparency, exploitation). Participants explore real-life examples, data privacy, and key regulations like GDPR and the AI Act. By the end, learners can identify ethical considerations, safeguard personal data, and discuss AI's effects on individuals and communities.
