On November 16th, 2024, the Cypriot partners hosted three focus group to explore skill gaps in advanced technologies and gather insights from industry professionals. The event focused on AI and Ethics, Big Data and ICT for sustainability, highlighting the mismatch between current and future skill requirements. Participants from both the business and education sectors shared their perspectives, emphasising the importance of technical and soft skills. Continuous collaboration between businesses and higher education was identified as crucial for helping professionals adapt to evolving technologies.
