The workshop on IT training challenges and solutions on 1 October in Lithuania was a great success! We were delighted to present the #INVESTech_V2 project, which aims to support the establishment and development of Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in IT in Lithuania, Slovakia, Greece, Bulgaria and Cyprus. The project will also foster cooperation between education and the labour market and help develop skills through the use of innovative technologies.
🌟 Highlights of the event: ▪️ Cooperation and involvement of education, labour market and other stakeholders in further activities of the project ▪️ Presentation of the importance of professional competences in the IT sector (Saidas Rafijevas Lecturer at the Department of Business Administration) ▪️ The project was presented by the project's Head of Unit, Eglė Brezgytė ▪️ The discussion was moderated by the Deputy Director of the Department of Business Administration, Jurgita Raišytė.
The workshop was attended by representatives of local government, employment services and business, IT professionals.
