On the 9th of July 2024, the Cypriot INVESTech_V2 team (Emphasys Centre, Frederic University, Cyric and CSI) organised the 1st Online Workshop for local stakeholders to join.

This workshop served as an introductory session aimed at fostering connections, expanding the INVESTech_V2 network, and helping stakeholders understand how they can contribute to and benefit from the project.

Participants from various sectors came together to discuss key topics, including the INVESTech_V2 project, its objectives and the Quintuple Innovation Helix (Q2IH) Framework, fostering collaboration across five key sectors: educational institutions, the labour market, the public sector, civil society, and the natural environment, which aims to bring together the stakeholders.

The framework aims to align stakeholder efforts to drive innovation and sustainable development, and participants were encouraged to identify their role within this structure.

This led to a conversation focused on establishing a National CoVE in Cyprus, with valuable input from stakeholders during a collaborative brainstorming activity.

During the session the next steps were also discussed, and invited participants to take part in the 1st official face-to-face workshop scheduled for November 16th, 2024.

A concluding Q&A session provided further insights, with participants engaging in discussions about their potential roles in the project.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this workshop a success! We look forward to continued collaboration and to welcoming you at the upcoming face-to-face event.
