On July 16th, 2024, the Cypriot INVESTech_V2 team, which includes Emphasys Centre, Frederick University, CyRIC, and CSI, hosted the 2nd Online Workshop for local stakeholders.

The workshop served as an introduction, aiming to build connections, expand the INVESTech_V2 network, and help stakeholders understand how they can contribute to and benefit from the project. Participants from diverse sectors gathered to discuss key topics, including the objectives of the INVESTech_V2 project and the Quintuple Innovation Helix (Q2IH) Framework. This framework promotes collaboration across five crucial sectors: educational institutions, the labour market, the public sector, civil society, and the natural environment, with the goal of uniting stakeholders to drive innovation and sustainable development.

Participants were encouraged to identify their role within the framework, leading to a discussion about establishing a National Center of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in Cyprus. A collaborative brainstorming session allowed stakeholders to provide valuable input.

The session also addressed the next steps, including an invitation to attend the 1st official face-to-face workshop, set for November 16th, 2024. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, where participants explored their potential roles within the project.

We extend a warm thank you to all who participated and contributed to the success of this workshop. We look forward to continued collaboration and to welcoming you at the upcoming in-person event.
